- [IKEA Burbank](/companies/ikea-burbank): A city development agreement places the replacement store at 805 South San Fernando Boulevard. The city recorded a 2017 opening and described the building as 456,000 square feet, then the largest IKEA in the United States. A store of that scale is a sales-tax anchor for Bradley-Burns revenue. - [Burbank Empire Center](/companies/empire-center): Retail center at West Empire Avenue and North Victory Place. The city named it in the adopted development file for the former Lockheed site and again, with Town Center, Magnolia Park, and Downtown, in the FY2024-25 popular annual report. Sales tax is remitted by the tenants. Property tax follows the parcels. This record is the center, not a single taxpayer.
- [Burbank Town Center](/companies/burbank-town-center): Indoor mall at 201 East Magnolia Boulevard. Wikipedia, used here only for the address and ownership statement, identifies Onni Group as owner and manager. The city lists the center as a major retail location. Tenant sales tax and owner property tax are not published as a ranking.
- [Walmart](/companies/walmart-burbank): Tenth employer on the July 2025 city table, at 540 jobs, 0.3 percent. The ACFR does not print the store street address, so this record does not invent one. Walmart is a point-of-sale retailer, which is the mechanism for local sales tax. The dollar remittance is confidential.
- [Magnolia Park](/companies/magnolia-park): Retail district named by the city alongside Empire Center, Town Center, and Downtown. There is no single owner and no single remittance. The district is here because the city points to it as a concentration of taxable sales.
- [Downtown Burbank](/companies/downtown-burbank): Retail and restaurant district named by the city as one of four major shopping areas. Sales tax is the sum of many small remitters. No individual restaurant bill is public.
