Discovery](/companies/warner-bros-discovery): Largest employer on the City of Burbank July 2025 principal-employer table, at 8,230 jobs, 5.0 percent of the workforce that table uses as its denominator. Headquarters address published by the Los Angeles Business Journal: 4000 Warner Boulevard. Burbank does not publish the company property-tax, sales-tax, or business-license remittance. The lot is treated here as a primary private anchor because of its size and use, and that sentence is an inference, not a city ranking. The FY2024-25 economic development report describes a separate 30-acre ranch-lot campus at 411 N. Hollywood Way, with completion estimated for late 2025.
- [The Walt Disney Company](/companies/walt-disney-company): Second-largest employer on the July 2025 city table, at 6,284 jobs, 3.8 percent of that table denominator. Headquarters address published by the Los Angeles Business Journal: 500 South Buena Vista Street. The same newspaper counted 10,900 valley-area employees in September 2025, which is a wider geography than the city table. Remittances are not published. The studio and headquarters campus is the other primary private anchor in the media district, labeled as an inference. ABC Inc. appeared as its own line on older city tables, including 1,160 employees in the June 30, 2021 ACFR, and is not a separate line on the July 2025 table.
- [Nickelodeon Animation Studio](/companies/nickelodeon-animation): Eighth employer on the July 2025 city table, at 634 jobs, 0.4 percent. The animation studio occupies 231 West Olive Avenue. That street address is the studio published address and is not printed in the ACFR employer table. Paramount owns Nickelodeon. The city popular report names Nickelodeon among the media companies with a strong presence. Remittance is not published.
- [Netflix](/companies/netflix): Not on the July 2025 principal-employer top ten. The 2024-2028 strategic plan counted about 850 Burbank employees, and the Chamber page prints the same figure without an as-of date. CoStar News reported in 2019 that Netflix leased animation space at 2300 West Empire Avenue, plus space at 2350 and 2400 Empire Avenue formerly associated with Deluxe. Treat the street address as 2019 reporting, not a 2026 confirmation. Tax remittance is not published.
